A free survivor-like you play right in the browser: steer a tiny neon ship while your weapons fire on their own, scoop up XP gems, pick 1 of 3 upgrades every level and evolve your weapons to survive a 10-minute chapter and its boss. Three chapters, an endless mode, a daily seed that is the same for everyone, and light upgrades bought with shards you earn by playing. No ads, no login, nothing to buy.
Shards (✦) you pick up and earn at the end of every run buy small permanent upgrades — Vitality, Power, Agility, Magnet, Growth, extra Rerolls and Bans, and a one-time Second Wind revive. Shards can't be bought; Practice mode makes you invincible so you can test builds for free.
Move your ship with WASD/arrow keys or by dragging anywhere on a phone. Your weapons aim and fire by themselves. Collect the XP gems enemies drop, pick one of three upgrades each level, and survive the 10-minute chapter until you defeat the boss.
Each of the 6 weapons has a matching passive. Get the weapon to level 5, own its passive, then open a chest dropped by an elite or the boss — the weapon evolves into a much stronger form (for example Pulse Blaster + Overclock becomes Prism Storm).
Once a day everyone gets the same chapter, the same rule modifier, the same spawns and the same level-up offers, so scores are directly comparable. Retry as often as you like — your best score of the day counts.
Neon Swarm is completely free: no ads, no login, no download and nothing to buy. Shards are earned only by playing and are saved on your device.
Yes. It is built mobile-first with a floating thumb joystick, pooled objects and a spatial grid so hundreds of enemies stay at 60 fps, and it lowers resolution automatically on slower devices.
Practice makes you invincible and doubles XP so you can try builds without pressure (no rewards). Endless unlocks after clearing Chapter 1: there is no finish line and a stronger boss arrives every 10 minutes.
